Purpose of the role

Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success.  The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity exists in Sydney for a Client Growth Coordinator to focus on driving client and market growth supporting priority ASX 50-100 relationship with new and existing clients. You will work in the Strategic Client Program (SCP) and operate collaboratively with market-leading lawyers and business development professionals across the firm.

Your responsibilities include:

  • participating in strategic account planning workshops and assisting with the documentation of strategy, plans to support client relationships and growth and ongoing updates
  • participation in value proposition development, new business pitches, panel tenders, capability statements and credentials in conjunction with the SCP team
  • assisting with team project coordination and delivery
  • organising client and industry research dossiers and providing written briefings
  • managing client contact information with stakeholders across the firm and utilisation of the firm's CRM  
  • managing pipeline reporting and supporting monthly Executive Leadership team reporting
  • closely collaborating with design, events and other parts of the Client ^ Market Growth team to deliver to client deadlines.

More about you

The ideal candidate will have experience working preferably in a professional services environment, with tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline (this may be over the top of a law degree).  

In addition, you will:     

  • work effectively to achieve outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders both internal and external in a high pressure and time critical work environment
  • have a positive, results orientated approach with a strong desire to learn
  • demonstrate strong project planning, execution and co-ordination skills
  • have well-developed research, literacy and analytical skills and the ability to distil and disseminate written and verbal information
  • have the ability to work autonomously, with an adaptable and collaborative approach
  • have demonstrated project management and organisational skills
  • be proactive and think outside of the box
