Your role

Our Melbourne office is currently looking for an experienced lawyer with public liability experience to join our collegiate team. As a member of our Insurance & Corporate Risk team you will work closely with senior lawyers on a mixture of advice and litigious matters. You will predominantly work in Public Liability and Personal Injuries and often be exposed to working on institutional abuse claims. You will also receive a high level of training and support as well as opportunities for client contact and business development.

What we are looking for

  • A passionate and commercially astute public liability lawyer with a genuine interest in building a successful, long term career in insurance law;
  • Someone with sound client and file management skills who understands the importance of providing technically excellent, advice;
  • A practitioner with the maturity and self-motivation to be responsible for the day to day management of claim files with the assistance of a mentor as appropriate; and
  • A good team player who appreciates the importance of collegiality and collaboration.
