MinterEllison has one of the largest major projects, infrastructure and construction practices in Queensland and plays a significant role in a diverse range of projects in the Asia Pacific.  We are focused on providing end-to-end legal support – from project structuring, advice on procurement options, financing, tender strategy, contract documentation and negotiation through to contract administration, operation and maintenance issues and dispute resolution.

Our team has played a role in some of the largest and most complex infrastructure and resources transactions in the Asia Pacific, including several award-winning and ground-breaking transactions.  Our client-orientated approach and our particular strength in problem solving enables us to overcome specific challenges unique to any project and provide bespoke solutions.

Our team delivers on all types of large and complex infrastructure projects across Australia and Asia Pacific in the key areas of transport (roads, rail, shipping ports and airports), residential and commercial property development, mining, power, water, education (including universities and schools) and justice (including prisons) using all types of procurement processes and project delivery models for both government and private clients.


A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced major projects, infrastructure and construction lawyer at a senior associate level with strong front-end and back-end experience to join us.

You will work on a range of projects in Queensland and nationally alongside partners Michael Creedon, Julie Whitehead, Jonathon Williams, Andrew Orford and David Pearce, however, there will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national team on large scale projects within other jurisdictions.

Our client base is diverse and they come to us for innovative solutions to their individual project needs, delivered by some of the most prominent lawyers in the sector.

Our team has a strong pipeline of high quality projects with excellent clients and needs to expand its high quality team to ensure that we can maintain the highest quality of service that we are renowned for.
