At MinterEllison our award winning Real Estate group is one of the largest and most diverse property practices in Australia.  The Canberra team offers a comprehensive range of property related legal services for developers, investors, landlords, tenants, property funds managers and listed property trusts and for the Commonwealth and Territory governments.

Our leasing and conveyancing practice is part of our core business and it continues to go from strength to strength.  We work on both high volume leasing and conveyancing matters as well as complex and sophisticated leasing and acquisition deals for some of the best clients in Australia including AMP, Challenger, QIC, Lendlease and Commonwealth and Territory agencies.

YOUR ROLE

A great opportunity currently exists for a paralegal with conveyancing experience to join our property team working closely with partner Edward Campbell and his team.  As a member of this team you will have a focus on project conveyancing and retirement village conveyancing work.  This role is a fixed term contract until February 2020.

We are looking to recruit a full time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) conveyancing paralegal on a contract basis who is able to successfully manage high volume and high quality work.  In this role you will deal directly with our clients to manage your own files whilst having the support of senior lawyers and a high-performing team.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • previous conveyancing experience, ideally in unit, mixed use and flat land developments
  • exceptional client service skills and responsiveness
