Minter Ellison's Intellectual Property team is at the forefront of intellectual property development globally. Our large and diverse team advises on the creation, acquisition, commercialisation, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights and has forged an enduring reputation working with leading local and global organisations.

Your role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced personal assistant to join the Intellectual Property team within our Dispute Resolution Division, providing efficient administrative support to 2 Partners and a team of lawyers.

As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • diary management and organisation of authors
  • monitor emails and telephone calls
  • making and managing travel arrangements
  • manage files (both electronic and hard copy)
  • assist in maintaining client databases
  • drafting correspondence, document preparation and amendments
  • reconcile corporate AMEX expenses
  • billing in accordance with client requirements (experience with Elite3 an advantage)

This role will suit a candidate with 3+ years' administration experience in a legal environment. In addition, you will possess the following attributes:

  • advanced word document skills including document creation and presentation
  • strong understanding of software applications including Excel, PowerPoint, practice management and other technology systems
