Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the law firm and essential to the firm's success.  The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your role

Due to the growth of the firm, the CMG team are recruiting a newly-created Mid to Senior Graphic Designer role to help drive and enhance the creative visuals across the business’ internal and external communications. You’ll play an integral role in the Sydney-based Marketing and Communications team, a global function within our MinterEllison business. The team is responsible for upholding the integrity of our brand through creative design, communications, print, digital and marketing collateral for regional and global clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with various stakeholders to produce branding on proposals, tenders and other collateral, ensuring compliance with group brand guidelines across MinterEllison
  • Produce high quality artwork for print and digital channels in a highly efficient and organised timely manner that is accurate and in line with specifications collaborating with the broader design and marketing team through every stage of the creative process, from initial brief, to iterations and finished art
  • Support the Design Manager and Market & Brands Lead in bringing to life engaging collateral across a range of campaigns whilst assisting the team in achieving studio efficiencies through monitoring and tracking of jobs and processes
  • Champion best practice design across the firm and ensure all design output is consistent with our brand and industry standards
  • Delivering an exceptional, wide range of creative solutions across all business sectors, using high attention to detail and ensuring client satisfaction.

About you

This role will suit a self-motivated and focused individual, prepared to bring a high level of creative energy and flair to this dynamic team, along with proven capability in presentation design. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and team members. In addition, our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A qualification in Graphic Design/Visual Communication and 4+ years of design experience
  • Strong communication skills and experience managing clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and PowerPoint
  • A flair for visual storytelling through impactful imagery, infographics, data visualisation and pitch and presentation design
  • Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro highly desirable. Some familiarity with digital and interactive design and motion graphics is an advantage
  • a strong understanding of design principles with an exceptional creative eye
  • a proven track record in creating high end sophisticated design executions across pitch collateral, brand identity and development, brochures, advertising and other market facing collateral for both print and digital, event, screen and animated presentation work.
