Our team

MinterEllison has an award winning Real Estate team that is consistently recognised for our client service, calibre of work and thought leadership.

The Brisbane Real Estate team is led by partners Cameron Charlton, Adrian Rich, Matthew Glenn and Robin Lyons. The team offers a comprehensive range of property-related legal services for developers, investors, owners, landlords, tenants, property funds managers, listed property trusts and government.

In this role you will work with Adrian Rich. Adrian is a leading practitioner in the Brisbane real estate market, having developed deep relationships with some of Australia's largest corporate vendors, purchasers, developers, landlords and tenants.  Adrian and his team act on large scale real estate transactions, together with advising on all facets of commercial, industrial, retail and residential property including due diligences, acquisitions, disposals, development and leasing.

Your role

As a member of our award-winning, fun and dynamic team you will have the opportunity to work alongside Adrian to gain exposure to the development, leasing, sale and acquisition of commercial, industrial, residential and retail developments, with a focus on complex and high volume leasing matters, and capital transactions.

We would like to hear from senior lawyers who are experienced and interested in the following range of work, to assist with our growing practice:

  • leasing of commercial, industrial and retail property;
  • real estate transactions around Australia and across all asset classes;
  • development of commercial, industrial and residential real estate projects;
  • general commercial advice work; and
  • helping to leverage the breadth of our expertise within and across the firm's other lines of business.

What you need

We welcome applications from lawyers who are at least at Senior Associate level with experience in a reputable property team. You will also have:

  • a commercial approach to all matters;
  • excellent business acumen and a desire to strengthen existing and help cultivate new client relationships;
  • superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail;
  • the ability to work in a highly cohesive and fast-paced team, and to lead and mentor a cohort of talented lawyers and legal professionals;
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
  • resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own.
