YOUR ROLE

A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person to begin their career in the legal technology industry, as a Coordinator in MinterEllison's Legal Technology Consulting (LTC) team. 

LTC is responsible for providing expert technical and project management consulting support for legal matters, specialising in the areas of electronic litigation, web based data rooms and information management.

LTC Coordinators are an essential part of our national team, providing task-based support to our Consultants. Reporting to the Coordinator Lead Consultant, and supporting Consultants across a diverse portfolio of matters at any given time, Coordinators need a keen eye for detail, an ability to forge strong relationships and a flexible and autonomous approach to their work.

All training is provided, and successful Coordinators have multiple avenues for career development.

As a key member of this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading documents to our databases and platforms
  • Providing base-level training to our lawyers on the various products used by the team
  • Assisting in writing process guides/process maps
  • Taking detailed instructions from lawyers and relaying information to the team
  • Working in project teams across our group, focussed on strategic initiatives for the continuous improvements of our offerings
  • Participate in the national alignment of policies, procedures, services and products
  • Other duties as directed by the Legal Technology Manager and Coordinator Lead Consultant

WHAT YOU NEED

OUR LEGAL SERVICE OPERATIONS TEAM

MinterEllison’s Legal Service Operations team is focussed on utilising people expertise, refined business processes and innovative digital platforms and automation to facilitate the delivery of all our client-facing legal services across the business. This team works closely with our legal professionals and external service providers to ensure that we adopt practices that have a positive impact on our Firm’s profitability and also deliver a consistently high-quality experience to our clients. The Legal Service Operations team combines a diverse range of skill sets and platforms requiring a seamless leadership structure to develop a suite of truly integrated solutions.

eDiscovery and transactional data room management is a key offering under the Legal Service Operations umbrella. MinterEllison has an established LTC team that specialises in electronic litigation, web based data rooms (WBDR) and project consulting. The team works closely with the firm's lawyers to streamline data intensive processes to produce efficient and cost effective outcomes.
