Your role

An exciting opportunity exists in our award winning Real Estate team for Full Time Legal Assistant. As the successful candidate, you will provide vital support to our high performing team and will contribute to our success as a leading professional services firm.  This would be a fantastic career development opportunity for an experienced high performing secretary/assistant with solid experience in a corporate law firm environment.

As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing files (both electronic and hard copy);
  • Diary management and organisation of authors;
  • Complying with client reporting requirements;
  • Monitoring emails and taking telephone calls;
  • Document management ie. editing of legal documents including mark ups and cross referencing;
  • Travel arrangements (including both international and domestic);
  • Assisting in maintaining client databases;
  • Drafting correspondence, document preparation and amendments;
  • Reconciling corporate AMEX expenses;
  • Monthly billing in accordance with client requirements;
  • Extensive accounting, editing and administration, responding to client accounting requests,
  • Debt collection; and
  • Coordinating meetings internal and external.

What you need

We welcome applications from experienced high performing secretaries who possess:

  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to clearly and confidently communicate at all levels
  • Advanced MS Word skills, including document creation and presentation
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and other software
  • A demonstrated commitment to high internal/external service standards
  • An adaptable and flexible nature
  • A proactive approach and high levels of initiative
