Our Team

The Finance Systems Test team plays a critical role in maximising the firm's investment in the Finance systems and integrations, by providing end to end system solutions in support of firm strategy, business initiatives and project requirements.  The team is part of the wider Financial Services team and the role is a key role in the Business Systems Test team.

Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join our team for a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is a project role that will focus on a major upgrade to our Practice Management (ERP) system.

As a Senior Test Analyst in our team you will be:

  • Leading specific streams of testing work, including design of test approach and management of risks.
  • Developing Test Plans including Test approach, test coverage and estimation of test effort
  • Analysing Test Requirements including data requirements.
  • Reviewing and developing test cases, setting up testing Schedules and producing Test Summary Reports.
  • Setting up data as per requirements and executing test cases as required.
  • Leading triage of defects and managing stand ups with business testers.
  • Provide updates to your Test Lead, Test Manager or Project Manager on your progress of assigned tasks.
  • Support Business Resources through Functional testing and UAT.

More About You

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Demonstrable experience working as part of a project team on at least one major Finance or other critical system upgrade.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and testing processes.
  • Excellent decision making and problem analysis skills
  • Experience working across all test phases including Functional, Regression, Integrations and User Acceptance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to take ownership and to advise and guide others/self-starter 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • project experience 
  • ISTQB certification to Intermediate level preferred.
