The team

A great opportunity currently exists for an Associate to join our Sydney Dispute Resolution team.

Working alongside Amy Southwell, Partner, and her broader team, you will work on property and leasing disputes for a range of high profile clients.

In your role, you will gain exposure to the following types of matters:

  • Commercial litigation, Supreme Court NSW, Commercial List and Real Property List, contract disputes, property disputes, commercial and retail leasing disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims;
  • Retail leasing litigation in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal;
  • Advising on the sale of large scale residential assets, including, off the plan sales;
  • Attending mediations with clients.

About you

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • 3+ years of experience in litigation with an interest in real property and leasing litigation ;
  • Experience in some or all of insolvency, general commercial disputes, regulatory disputes and investigations, Corporations Act litigation
  • High academic achievement;
  • Exceptional client service skills, responsiveness and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • An ability to work in a high volume, deadline driven environment;
  • Enthusiasm and a positive, collaborative and proactive approach;
