The Project Manager role is accountable for the successful delivery of key firm wide business change projects, with direct buy-in and interaction with our leaders. The right people for this role, are ones who enjoy managing large scale projects that will make a tangible impact.

Your Role

We are looking for someone who prides themselves in exceptional stakeholder management, presentation and leadership skills with proven project experience in a partnership environment.

This role is initially at 12 month fixed term contract, and with a large pipeline of exciting projects coming up there's the opportunity for extending for longer or to permanent. 

You will:

  • Oversee and manage the overall project delivery
  • Work with the product owner(s) and leaders of each work package to plan, estimate and schedule activities
  • Plan, scope and on-board project resources and vendors
  • Prepare and manage project-related deliverables
  • Monitor and control the project throughout execution
  • Actively identify, monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Liaise and work with a wide range of internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective communication
  • Actively plan, tracking progress and implement project plans
  • Identify and resolve project schedule issues and when necessary escalate to the appropriate level of management
  • Promote, contribute to and adhere to project governance and frameworks

More About You

We welcome applicants who have:

  • Significant project and/or program management experience (7+ years)
  • Experience working within a Law firm or similar professional services businesses
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering multi-faceted projects, that consist of significant business process change and technology work packages
  • Previous experience in vendor management, and technical projects comprising of multi-faceted solutions and system integration
  • Demonstrated ability in project management techniques and practices including, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk
  • Demonstrated experience managing a wide spectrum of stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain sound working relationships with colleagues and management
  • Strong communication skills; particularly ability to provide high-level written reports and presentations for senior audience
  • Experienced in applying agile principles to project delivery
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent
