The Team

As a leading law firm it is vital that we have appropriate information technology systems to ensure that the firm is operating smoothly so we can best serve our clients and employees.

To ensure we are meeting this objective, our Technology team is recruiting an IT Test Analyst to provide crucial test and business analysis as well as general technology activities across a range of diverse projects across the firm.

Your Role

 As a IT Test Analyst in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of duties such as:

  • Design, develop, maintain, execute and review manual and automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications and other IT services using formal testing techniques
  • Compile, maintain and review test documentation
  • Monitor and report test metrics and the status of testing progress
  • Analyse, review and evaluate requirements, working with the business to understand system requirements
  • Estimate testing requirements to determine scope of development/project cycles
  • Build and support Test Automation Framework
  • Conduct automated and manual testing on mobile devices and OS updates
  • Workload management (as and when required) to complete testing deliverables for maintenance, compliance and projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal/external stakeholders to update and aid in the development of critical testing artefacts and QA processes
  • Identify impending risks that may compromise achievement of deliverables and initiate steps to mitigate risk

More About You

We welcome applicants who have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated testing experience within a software test environment (minimum 7 years is desirable)
  • Experience within a law firm, professional services or corporate environment is (highly regarded)
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst/Technical Test Analyst (Preferred)
  • Proficient in the use of tools like JIRA and iManage
  • Sound knowledge of SQL databases with the ability to write and execute queries
  • Desirable - Application coding skills (Java)
  • Desirable – Automation skills (TOSCA / Selenium / Load runner /JMeter)
