Legal EA/Team Assistant – Real Estate (Full Time, 8 Month, FTC)

Your role

An exciting opportunity exists in our award winning Real Estate team for an Executive Assistant with 3+ years' experience along with the ability to combine this with some paralegal administrative duties.  . As the successful candidate, you will provide vital support to our high performing team and will contribute to our success as a leading professional services firm. 

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail.

As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Typing general correspondence and working in documents
  • Letters of verification
  • Distributions at the end of the matter
  • Ability to use PEXA and LRS  websites for settlements (will provide training)
  • Large volume of file management (e.g. opening and closing matters)
  • Monitoring emails and taking telephone calls
  • Diary management
  • Assisting in maintaining client databases
  • Drafting correspondence, document preparation and amendments
  • Reconciling corporate AMEX expenses
  • Monthly billing in accordance with client requirements
  • other ad hoc duties as required

What you need

The successful candidate will, ideally, be a Intermediate Legal Assistant/Secretary with 3+ years of experience and will also possess:

  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to clearly and confidently communicate at all levels
  • Advanced MS Word skills, including document creation and presentation
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and other software
  • A demonstrated commitment to high internal/external service standards
  • An adaptable and flexible nature
  • A proactive approach and high levels of initiative
