The Team

Operating within our Business Operations Finance department, the Client Monies team at MinterEllison provides expert support to the legal team on the management of trust monies across 7 Australian based offices. The team work closely together with the aim of providing quality customer service ensuring transactions are compliant at the same time meeting client's expectation.

We are currently looking for a talented Trust Account Administrator to join our Client Monies specialist team in Brisbane.

Your Role

 As a Trust Account Administrator in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of trust accounts matters such as:

  • Performing data compliance check on payments and receipts requests to ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations;
  • Managing completion of payment and receipt requests in the practice management system within required timeframes and, meeting client expectations;
  • Liaising with financial institutions for the transactional information related to client monies request and attend banking;
  • Perform bank trust reconciliations and monthly reporting requirements;
  • Liaise and develop relationships with various internal and external clients.

  • Demonstrated functional experience in accounts payable or receipting, preferably in a legal or corporate environment. 
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
