Secretary - Insurance & Corporate RiskA fantastic opportunity exists for a legal secretary to be part of the Insurance and Corporate Risk team in our Brisbane office. This is a parental leave cover role for 12 months. The Insurance and Corporate Risk team specialises in professional indemnity, public liability, product liability, medical malpractice, major incident investigation and risk management, coronial inquests, disciplinary matters and investigation of clinical competency. This position will be supporting 4 authors who specialise in product liability, general insurance and professional indemnity. This exciting role will have you working alongside a team of friendly secretaries, and would include:
Candidates will possess initiative, a willingness to learn and have a pro-active approach. Good communication skills and maturity are essential in order to liaise confidently with staff and clients. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years legal secretarial experience. As a large top-tier law firm you will benefit from the support provided by our technology, accounting and know-how help desk teams who are always available to assist. Opportunities are also available to further your skills by attending any of our monthly training sessions. You will have accurate touch typing and be at an advanced level in the use of all Microsoft Office applications. We prefer to deal with you directly.
