Your role
We are looking for an experienced Associate to join our highly regarded team in Adelaide and specialise in intellectual property, technology, privacy and competition law. Working with clients in sectors as diverse as agriculture, energy, higher education, local government, manufacturing and not-for-profit.
You will work and collaborate with Partner Lisa Jarrett and a national team, and have exposure to a wide variety of challenging and stimulating work including:
- Complex procurement, distribution and technology contracts;
- Data security and privacy issues including policies and data breach management;
- Competition and consumer law advice;
- Intellectual property advice and contracts including an international trademark portfolio; and
- Major infrastructure and outsourcing projects.
More about you
We welcome applications from lawyers with:
- At least 3 years of technical skill in commercial law, ideally with intellectual property, technology and privacy experience;
- The ability to deliver clear, quality, commercial and pragmatic advice;
- A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts;
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment; and
- An interest in and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives including presentations, client training and publications.
