Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists in our Client Services team for a Client Services Assistant. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, role and would be a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a top tier legal firm. We are looking for someone with experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role in a professional organisation.
As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Providing food and beverage wait service for meetings, functions and events (some afterhours work may be required)
- Making barista coffee and tea for clients
- Assisting in the preparation and service of catered/precooked meals
- Arranging cheese and/or fruit platters for events
- Proactively follow up bookings in our Event Management System (EMS)
- Assisting with room set-ups, including moving furniture and opening/closing wall panels
- Be the first point of contact for AV queries, eg assisting with set up of Teams calls, presentations, etc.
- Processing invoices and other relevant admin tasks
- Provide Reception cover when required
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
What you need
We expect you will possess the following:
- Excellent communication, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Reliable and flexible
- Physically able to move/lift equipment and supplies
- Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Word and Excel
- A strong commitment to team work
- Barista and hospitality experience would be an advantage
- Being tech savvy would be an advantage
