Your Role
An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a dynamic Administration Assistant to join our supportive Business Services team in our Brisbane office. The ideal candidate will be available to work 5 days a week in the office working rotating 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a high level of initiative, strong attention to detail, energy and enthusiasm as there are strong career growth opportunities in our firm.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to a broad range of responsibilities within the Business Centre including:

Liaise with building management or contractors regarding repairs, maintenance, cleaning, security, parking and any other issues.

Printing, photocopying, scanning and document finishing (e.g. binding, laminating etc.)
- Sorting, delivery, collection and distribution of mail, incoming and outgoing couriers
- Purchase, stocktake and maintenance of all stationery, mail and courier consumables
- Arranging contractors for any tenancy repairs and maintenance services
- Undertaking Work Health and Safety (WHS) inspections and ensuring contractor's insurances, MSDS and other WHS paperwork is up-to-date in our system
- Assisting and supporting the Search and Lodgement team if required (training to be provided)
- Processing supplier invoices and recharging costs to the matter(s)
- Assist in maintaining printer fleet and escalating issues when required
- Ensure stationery stock levels is well maintained
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and practices to enhance the service offering
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless operation
- Other ad hoc duties as required
More About You
We welcome applicants who possess:
- At least one year experience in a similar role in a professional environment
- Strong customer service experience and focus
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Solutions-focussed and confident to use initiative to make decisions
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Self-motivation with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to undertake physical and mobile work
- First Aid Certificate and/or Fire Warden experience is highly desirable however not mandatory.
