Our Brisbane Dispute Resolution team is recognised as one of the leading practices in Queensland, with a strong reputation for handling complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters. The team combines technical excellence with a collaborative culture, working on high-profile matters for top-tier clients across banking and finance, corporate insolvency, and commercial disputes. Your Role

 

We are seeking an exceptional Associate or Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience to join our high-performing Brisbane Dispute Resolution team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial litigator with demonstrated expertise in insolvency and reconstruction, or for those looking to build a specialisation in this dynamic and growing practice area.

 

Working directly with Partner Michael Vickery and his highly regarded team, you will provide strategic advice to a prestigious client base including major financial institutions, large corporates, and leading insolvency practitioners. Your work will primarily span contentious and non-contentious complex insolvency and restructuring matters. This role offers genuine exposure to sophisticated matters and the opportunity to develop deep expertise and market presence.

  • have 4+ years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, with expertise or genuine interest in insolvency and restructuring (both advisory and contentious)
