Your Role

 

We have an exciting entry level opportunity for a full time Business Services Assistant to join our team, on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Business Services Assistant is a hands on role primarily responsible for providing high quality administrative services to Partners, staff, clients and visitors. 
 

Your duties  

 

As a Business Services Assistant in our team, you will be a versatile team member involved in a broad range of duties such as:

 

  • Printing, photocopying, scanning and finishing (e.g. binding, laminating etc.)
  • Sorting, delivery, collection and distribution of mail, couriers and other items
  • Purchase, stocktake and maintenance of all stationery, including mail and courier consumables
  • Administration tasks including processing supplier invoices
  • Assist in maintaining print devices and binding equipment and arranging contractor support,
  • Support the Premises assistant with arranging contractors for repairs and maintenance, and other duties
  • Help the Search and Lodgement team when required
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and practices to enhance the service offering
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure seamless Business Services operations
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

 

More About You

 

To be successful in this role, strong organisational skills are important as well as a high level of initiative, attention to detail, energy and enthusiasm. No experience needed, but must have a positive attitude and a desire to learn.

  • Experience in a similar role in a professional environment is ideal but not essential,
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong customer service skills and focus
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including in Word and Excel, MS Teams & Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Solutions focussed and confident to use initiative to make decisions
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • An ability and willingness to undertake physical and mobile work
