The Role 

 

As a Client Engagement and Events Consultant in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks such as: 

 

Event Management 

 

  • Responsible for the delivery of consistently high quality events firmwide and in the Brisbane office 

  • Project management of all aspects of these events: logistics, communications and stakeholder engagement 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish objectives and success metrics 

  • Facilitation and delivery of national and local online webinar programs 

  • Event debrief reporting to relevant partners and CMG team 

  • Budget management and accurate forecasting 

  • Work closely with client services team using a range of external catering suppliers 

  • Support the delivery of small to large firm-wide initiatives, events, communications, sponsorships. 

 

Brand Experience 

 

  • Work with the internal design team on graphics and perform basic editing of content 

  • Building event communications through our EDM platform, ensuring brand integrity and functionality 

  • Initiating ideas on elevating our client experience, event innovation and brand activation 

 

Marketing Support  

 

  • Supporting a portfolio of industries and lines of business with client events 

  • Maintain and update event lists, manage registration updates and reporting on engagement 

  • Assist with the development of marketing plans/campaigns 

 

Partnership management 

 

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of two key arts partnerships, including asset delivery such as advertising opportunities, and corporate hospitality - ensuring all obligations are met and opportunities are maximised.  

  • Foster strong relationships with sponsorship teams, acting as the primary liaison to ensure seamless collaboration, timely approvals, and alignment with brand and client engagement objectives. 

  • Strategically leverage active partnerships to enhance client and partner experiences, identifying and activating opportunities for brand visibility, bespoke events, and high-impact client touchpoints. 

 

 

More About You 

 

We welcome applicants who have: 

 

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations or event management, or suitable relevant experience 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-volume event management within a corporate environment 

  • Excellent planning and time management skills, including an ability to handle conflicting deadlines and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels 

  • Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills 

  • Experience in managing sponsorships or partnerships highly regarded 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • Navigate and resolve competing priorities by influencing and aligning key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and a consistently high standard of service delivery across all touchpoints. 

  • Great knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel 

  • An ability to work autonomously to get the job done, smoothly and with style 

  • Webinar delivery experience in relevant platforms
