Your role


An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Executive Assistant to join our Environment & Planning team on a permanent, full-time basis in our Brisbane office.


As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Diary and email management
  • Coordination of internal and external meetings and travel
  • Drafting correspondence, document production and amendments
  • File management including file opening, electronic filing, fee estimate tracking
  • Monitoring emails and taking telephone calls
  • Monthly billing, client reporting and invoicing
  • Assisting with due diligence searches
  • Compiling litigation briefs using electronic platforms
  • Assisting with business development and knowledge tasks


 What you need


The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretarial role and will also possess the following attributes:

  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications. Candidates with experience or a keen interest in Excel, co-authoring, file sharing and litigation electronic platforms will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate problems and be proactive in resolving them
  • Willingness to independently learn new skills and technologies
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment and contribute to the team's successes
  • A positive attitude and promotion of an inclusive and respectful team culture
  • Accountability, agility and responsiveness to ensure the delivery of tasks, including when working from home
  • Ability to deal with confidential information in a discrete manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities in a sustainable way
