The team
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable senior insurance lawyer to join our team. You will work closely with partner, Katie Beshara (nee Clark) and a team of lawyers on institutional abuse claims. Our large national insurance team supports clients across the country with this type of work and there are regularly opportunities for cross-border collaboration and to learn from highly experienced senior lawyers across the country.
What you need
We welcome applications from senior lawyers who:
- have 5+ years' experience in defendant public liability insurance claims;
- have experience in managing historical abuse matters;
- have a proven track record in working to client service standards;
- are personally well organised, with demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio of claims;
- proactively mentor junior practitioners and personal professional development;
- have experience in efficiently and professionally managing disclosure tasks;
- take pride in their work and who they work for;
- work in a highly collaborative manner;
- are resilient and committed to excellence that matches our own; and
- have an interest in using technology to maximise efficiencies in high volume work.
