The Role

 

Join the forefront of MinterEllison’s digital transformation as a Systems Analyst and Developer. In this pivotal role, you’ll not only support and elevate our billing, time entry, and data warehousing platforms but also play a key part in shaping the future of our digital landscape. As a vital member of the Enterprise Data and Engineering team within the Digital department, you'll lead the charge in system integrations, developing innovative low-code/no-code solutions that seamlessly connect our systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Analyse, design, implement and support the Firm's billing system's custom developments in .net;
  • Develop and support AWS Cloud base Data Lake and Data Warehouse;
  • Technical support and maintain Cloud based Time entry system
  • Develop and support data integrations between applications;
  • Develop low code interfaces to support data and application integrations;
  • Perform data analysis and exploration for AI;
  • Identify and suggest possible areas for innovation and improvement in applying technology within the firm;
  • Analyse and review business requirements for the developments;
  • Assist with system upgrades and support activities as required;
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developments;
  • Keep abreast of general trends and advancements in IT;
  • Perform other project related tasks as assigned;
  • Ensure change control procedures and other firm policies/procedures are followed.

 

 

About You

 

  • Bachelor Degree in IT or Software Engineering; 
  • 3-5 years of software development and data engineering experience;
  • Microsoft Visual Studio .net (VB, ASP, C#) experience;
  • Experience in MS Power Apps and Power Automate;
  • Basic knowledge of Data Engineering and Analytics;
  • Exposure to Cloud data platforms, AWS and Azure;
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL (SQL/TSQL) and Python skills;
  • Experience in Python and ETL processes;
  • Data modelling and analytical experience;
  • Data warehousing (AWS S3 and Redshift) concepts, ETL processes and tools (DBT);
  • Understanding of Data Integration technologies and tools, preferably Boomi;
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies;
