In Canberra, our Technology Consulting team works with Commonwealth, public sector and private sector clients on complex technology, sourcing, commercial and transformation investment challenges. Our work helps clients define their needs, make evidence-based decisions, procure and manage technology services, and deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.

Your role

As a Canberra Technology Consulting Graduate, you will join a high performing team of talented and supportive professionals who will help you learn and challenge you to grow.

We are looking to hire graduates in our Canberra office to commence in February 2027. You will have the opportunity to work with government and public sector and private sector clients on projects that involve, but not limited to:

• Technology strategy
• ICT sourcing and procurement
• Program and project management
• Data analytics, market research and intelligence
• Contract and vendor management

As part of project teams, you may be responsible for specific components of delivery, including:

• Gathering and analysing information through stakeholder interviews, workshops, research and data analysis
• Supporting clients to define business, technology and procurement requirements
• Contributed to applied research in support of ICT related procurements
• Conducting analysis and preparing clear outputs, presentations and evidence-based findings
• Assisting with developing insights and recommendations
• Taking ownership of tasks and delivering work to agreed timeframes
• Keeping the project lead informed of issues, risks and findings
• Building trusted working relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders
• Coordinating workshops and meetings, documenting outcomes and maintaining project artefacts

You will also contribute to internal initiatives that build our team’s capability, including knowledge-sharing, capability development and the responsible use of technology and AI-enabled tools to improve the quality and efficiency of our work.

Eligibility

Due to the nature of our Canberra client work, applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.

To be eligible for the program, you will:

• be a final year student or recent graduate who has completed your undergraduate degree in the last 2 years - you must attach a copy of your most recent academic transcript
• have solid academic results, preferably within the following disciplines; Information Technology or Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business or Commerce, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies, Data Analytics, and Law. A double degree in a combination of the above disciplines would be favourable, but is not essential
• have highly developed analytical skills with a passion for solving complex IT and business problems
• demonstrate strong interpersonal and people management skills
• have confidence using Excel, PowerPoint, and other digital tools
• have confidence using AI tools in learning and day to day tasks
