Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Business Services Assistant to join our team, this is a permanent full time position. 


The Business Services Assistant is a hands on role primarily responsible for providing high quality administrative services to Partners, staff, clients and visitors including photocopying, mail, couriers, stationery, purchasing, scanning and telephony.


Your duties

As a Business Services Assistant in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of duties such as:

  • Printing, photocopying, scanning and finishing (e.g. binding, laminating etc.) of all documents sent to the document production centre

  • Sorting, delivery, collection and distribution of mail, incoming courier and other items

  • Purchase, stocktake and maintenance of all stationery, mail and courier consumables

  • Administration support including processing supplier invoices

  • Assist in maintaining print room equipment and, faxes & binding equipment

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and practices to enhance the service offering

  • Working closely with the team to ensure the seamless operation of the business services team

  • Other ad hoc duties as required


More About You

To be successful in this role, strong organisational skills are essential as well as a high level of initiative, attention to detail, energy and enthusiasm.  Ideally, you will also have experience working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.


We welcome applicants who have

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role in a professional environment

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Strong customer service experience and focus

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including in Word and Excel, MS Teams & Outlook

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels

  • Solutions focussed and confident to use initiative to make decisions

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

  • An ability and willingness to undertake physical and mobile work

  • First Aid Certificate highly desirable
