Your role:

 

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide secretarial support to our Insurance and Corporate Risk team (ICR) on a permanent full-time basis. The purpose of this role is to provide high quality support to a team of lawyers. 

 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Developing productive working relationships with key contacts internally
  • Electronic and hard copy document and file management
  • Diary management and organisation of fee earners
  • Organising and coordinating meetings
  • Monitoring emails and taking telephone calls
  • Organising interstate travel
  • Reconciliation of corporate AMEX expenses through Concur
  • Conducting the billing cycle, including end of month billing using Elite
  • Management of client billing protocols
  • Other adhoc duties as required

 

What you need

 

To be successful in this role, exceptional organisational skills are essential as well as a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm and enjoy working in a team environment. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable. 

 

In addition, you will possess the following attributes:

 

  • a legal background is advantageous
  • 2-3+ years office experience
  • a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • intermediate Microsoft application knowledge
  • an understanding of billing and financial systems and other software applications preferred but full training will be provided
  • resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own
  • an adaptable and flexible nature
  • the ability to clearly and confidently communicate at all levels
