Your Role
We are currently recruiting for a number of permanent opportunities for experienced Consultants across project, program and portfolio delivery, with experience across technology, to assist our clients to ensure robust control and governance outcomes are achieved as they deliver new capabilities. You will have the opportunity to support clients to deliver successful projects regardless of the complexity of scope, stakeholder, or supplier, aided by our industry leading frameworks, accelerators and analytics support.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop transformation strategies and support implementation roadmap
- Conduct current maturity state assessments and structure uplift recommendations and options across short to long term horizons
- Develop and uplift PMO frameworks across people, processes and tools
- Prepare and review project, program and portfolio documents, ensuring their fit for purpose to support, control and manage effective delivery of transformation and capability build initiatives
- Manage risk and support the client to build appropriate risk frameworks
- Assess toolsets to support effective project, program and portfolio management delivery
- Implement industry best practice and tailored approaches to portfolio management
- Provide an expert assessment of our clients' business requirements, gathering both technical and non-technical information.
- Build business cases and benefits frameworks to support investment prioritisation and optimisation decisions
- Design Executive report and Dashboard to support prioritisation and optimisation decisions
- Review current operating models and recommend transition plans
- Perform program health checks and shape remediation activities to place programs back on track and salvage current and future investment
- Governance re-structuring and change management support
- Training and learning needs assessment and delivery
- Deliver assurance and audit support over key PMO and project/program delivery functions.
More About You
We welcome applications from Consultant to Senior Manager level candidates who have demonstratable experience across the categories noted above as well as the following professional and technical qualifications:
Professional background
- At least 2 years' experience working in a consulting environment focusing on digital transformation, PMO establishment, management and uplift, business analysis, process improvement, operating model design and implementation.
- An understanding of technologies and investment reporting.
Skills
- Advanced Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive 'can do' attitude.
- Ability to present recommendations that are consumable by senior stakeholders
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and facilitate meetings and workshops at all levels
- Ability to assess solutions, transformation initiatives and toolsets
- Experience across OCM frameworks such as ADKAR
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, preferably within the following disciplines: Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, Finance or Law.
- Project/Program management accreditations such as Prince II, P3M3, LEAN, etc.
- Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
