More About You
We are currently looking for professionals with experience in IT financial management, pricing, data modelling & analysis, statistical modelling including Financial Management Consultants, assisting clients make smart decisions as they analyse, plan and optimise spend to support the growing economic and risk challenges.
We welcome applications from Consultant to Senior Manager level candidates who have demonstratable experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Partnering with teams on budgeting, forecasting and market comparisons;
- Reviewing the total cost of ICT and undertaking robust analysis to identify optimisation opportunities, in line with standard industry frameworks such as TBM;
- Financial analysis, modelling and consulting on the end-to-end costing of ICT projects and systems implementation;
- Conducting pricing analysis and developing complex models to support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and scenario modelling. This includes normalising supplier responses, advising on pricing best practices, and providing strategic financial insights, such as return on investment and benefits tracking;
- Providing assurance over financial models, including cost estimates, budgets and forecasts. Review and improve financial processes and governance by identifying disconnects, redesigning workflows, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance cost transparency and accountability; and
- Develop statistical and financial data models, perform analysis and visualisation and translate data into insights that support commercial and investment decisions.
Professional background
- For Consultant level: At least 2 years’ experience, for Manager level; at least 5 years' & for Senior Manager level; at least least 8 yrs+ working in an internal or external consulting environment or technology supplier focusing on financial management, commercial modelling and business analysis.
- An understanding of technology finance and / or pricing mechanisms.
Skills
- Superior communication and time management skills;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to handle large volumes of data and translate it to digestible information for senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel modelling (including Power Query) and Power Point skills.
- Data visualisation skills using tools such as Power BI
- Experience with Python and/or Python-in-Excel
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, with one of the following disciplines: Finance, Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Actuarial / Statistics, Computer / Data Science, Economics or Engineering.
- CA or CPA qualifications are highly desirable.
- Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
