Your Role
We are currently recruiting experienced technology Sourcing and Commercial Consultants to assist our clients to make smart decisions as they plan, execute and transition to new or re-invigorated supplier arrangements. You will have the opportunity to deliver and support the execution of ICT procurement processes with predictable high value outcomes under accelerated timeframes regardless of the complexity of scope, stakeholder, or supplier, aided by our industry leading frameworks, accelerators and analytics support.
In support of this we are looking for individuals who have experience in:
- Developing Sourcing strategies and managing risk.
- Strategic, end-to-end technology sourcing programs.
- Developing a commercial strategy and co-ordinating procurement.
- Preparing and reviewing commercial documents, particularly as they relate to service definitions and performance frameworks.
- Working with legal to ensure commercial and legal objectives are aligned.
- Running/supporting large tender processes.
- Facilitating evaluation across technical, financial and commercial streams, including preparation of evaluation reports.
- Negotiation planning and execution.
- Contract finalisation and preparation of executive papers for endorsement.
- Supplier Performance Management/Contract Management.
- Navigating Commonwealth approval processes

Professional background
- Senior Consultant level: at least 3 years + experience working in a consulting environment focusing on technology procurement, commercial management and end to end sourcing and/or experience working for suppliers within commercial roles.
- Senior Manager level: at least 5 years + experience working in a consulting environment focusing on technology procurement, commercial management and end to end sourcing and/or experience working for suppliers within commercial roles.
- A deep understanding of technologies and commercial reform.
- Undergraduate degree, preferably within the following disciplines: Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, Finance or Law.
- Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
Skills
- Advanced Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident to present recommendations that are consumable by senior stakeholders
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and facilitate meetings and workshops at all levels
- Ability to assess solutions and transformation initiatives
- Intermediate negotiation skills
