Our market-leading Banking & Finance team in Melbourne sits within the broader Capital Markets & Corporate line of business. Led by partners Geoff Earl, Alice Rubira and Sean Bradley, the team is known for deep industry expertise and commercial insight which supports its client centric approach.
We advise on the full spectrum of finance transactions — including corporate, real estate, project and structured finance — and work with a diverse client base spanning national and international banks, investment firms, corporates, intermediaries and government bodies. Our reputation is built on delivering practical, forward-thinking solutions to complex legal challenges.
Your Role
We’re looking for an experienced Associate to join our collaborative national team. You’ll advise lenders and borrowers on sophisticated financing arrangements, including traditional bank lending, private credit and emerging funding structures. The role offers exposure to high-profile matters and a dynamic mix of transactions and legal work.
About You
We’re keen to hear from lawyers who bring:
- 2–5 years’ experience in banking and finance, ideally from a leading commercial law or professional services firm
- Strong drafting skills and clear, confident communication
- Sound judgment and the ability to guide clients through complex decisions
- Curiosity and a client-first mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships across the industry
- A collegial approach and enthusiasm for mentoring junior lawyers
