The Role

 

An exciting opportunity exists within our Dispute Resolution team for a Legal Executive Assistant. This role will support 1 Partner and a team of lawyers, including providing administrative support on both litigious and non-litigious files. The team are hard-working and passionate with a collaborative and supportive approach. You will also collaborate with the other Executive Assistants in the team to support each other and the wider team as required. 

 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Drafting electronic and hardcopy correspondence, document preparation and amendments including use of precedents;
  • File management including electronic file opening and closing, electronic and hard copy document/filing management;
  • Co-ordination of monthly billing, client reporting and other general account duties;  
  • Proactive email, diary and appointment management including arranging travel;
  • Liaising with clients, barristers and various stakeholders;
  • Reconciling monthly AMEX expenses;
  • Assisting in maintaining client databases;
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

 

What you need

 

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in an Executive Assistant or Legal Secretarial role. You will have excellent attention to detail and be extremely proactive. You will also possess the following attributes:

 

  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills including document creation and presentation;
  • Solid understanding of software applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint other technology systems;
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisation ability;
  • A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, industry experts and clients;
  • Experience working in processing high volumes of work (desirable).
