Your role
A great opportunity currently exists for an insolvency and restructuring lawyer to join our Melbourne office. Working closely with highly esteemed partners Brendon Watkins, Nick Anson and Catherine Macrae, you will join a specialist team who advise clients such as major banks, alternative lenders, companies, insolvency practitioners, company directors and public sector stakeholders on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring, including formal and informal workouts, insolvency appointments, security enforcement, regulatory investigations and commercial litigation.
You would be involved in advisory work, litigation and turnaround activity.
You will consistently have the opportunity to work on high profile, stimulating matters and receive hands-on experience working directly with clients and partners.
What you need
We welcome applications from Australian qualified lawyers with:
- At least 2 years' experience in commercial dispute resolution and insolvency matters, gained at a recognised firm located in Australia or an analogous jurisdiction;
- Strong interest in both litigation and insolvency work;
- A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts;
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment;
- Resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own; and
- Pride in your work and who you work for.
