Your Role
This role is responsible for assisting the Head Chef, and Client Floor kitchen team, with occasional additional hours for events on pre-approval.
Your duties include:
- Cleaning and polishing of all dishes, crockery, glassware, cutlery and kitchen utensils and equipment
- Clean and maintain kitchen area, cold room, fridges, store room and to comply with health and safety standards
- Receive, check produce and unpack and store deliveries appropriately
- Basic food preparation; including washing, chopping and storage
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
More About You
We welcome applicants who have:
- Up to 1 year experience as a kitchenhand and or cafe experience
- Ability to work professionally at all times in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Knife skills and appropriate understanding of WHS
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Keen interest and desire to learn more about this industry
- Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
