About the Role
We're seeking a Legal & Consulting Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract, to support our firm's objectives of delivering an excellent end-to-end client experience whilst acting as financial stewards of the partnership. This role will play a pivotal role in transforming how we deliver legal and consulting services. You'll work at the intersection of law, consulting, and technology, driving innovation and excellence across high-profile matters whilst building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
What You'll Do
You'll provide hands-on project management and advice to legal and consulting teams on LCPM methodologies and tools, whilst delivering targeted support on complex and high demand matters through profit protection activities.
As a subject matter expert, you'll advise on project planning, scoping, budget preparation, and fee and scope management. You'll generate revenue through engagement on complex and high demand matters by:

Working with stakeholders to agree on scope, timelines and budget for matters

Developing matter plans and creating and delivering client and team communications

Tracking and monitoring scope, budget and progress

Anticipating and managing risks to project success

Driving stakeholder relationship management and reporting

Identifying improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of legal and consulting service delivery, leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and other digital technologies.

Identify and implement AI and technology solutions
What We're Looking For
Essential skills and experience:

Strong stakeholder influencing and relationship building skills

Strong client-facing skills and experience, preferably within a legal or consulting environment

Demonstrable interest and/or experience in project management

Capacity to manage varying levels of tasks – from thinking strategically to troubleshooting detail where needed

Excellent organisation, communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively whilst maintaining focus on internal efficiency

Superb time management, judgement, decision-making and problem-solving skills

Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel

An understanding of AI and how it can enhance service delivery and matter management.
