Our national Client & Market Growth (CMG) team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success.  The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients and supports its strategic objectives.

 

Your Role

 

A fantastic opportunity exists in Melbourne or Sydney for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team.

In this role you will support the Industry teams in the creation and activation of profiling, lead generation and client expansion activities while also supporting the Line of Business' on multi-tactical marketing campaigns, new business activities, and maintenance of marketing systems and processes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with the Industry Leads and teams on the development of their marketing strategy, assisting set objectives, agreeing KPIs and developing marketing campaigns/programs/initiatives that supports Industry profiling, lead generation, relationship development and revenue growth objectives

  • Lead (including project management) agreed marketing campaigns and initiatives which support Go To Market plans.

  • Edit articles, thought leadership and other communications, writing content to promote articles, thought leadership for web, social, internal communications

  • Grow the market profile of each Line of Business and Industry teams using available internal communication channels/initiatives – significant matters, team successes, etc

  • Manage sponsorships and partnerships relevant to Industry and Line of Business and developing activations

  • Write internal communications promoting Industry or Line of Business achievements that feature in the firm's internal newsletter, and possibly other internal channels

  • Draft press releases and/or research and provide background content for press release drafting

 

More about you

 

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Degree level qualifications in marketing, communications or business/commerce

  • 5 years+ marketing and communications experience, preferably in a professional services environment

  • Writes and communicates effectively; edits writing communications for impact and easy readability suited to the audience

  • Experience in managing and executing end to end marketing programs for profiling and client engagement

  • Understanding and experience in establishing and maintaining marketing systems and processes

  • Experience in project managing omni-channel activities

  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external clients.

  • Capability in both strategic thinking and sound implementation

  • Excellent organisational, time management and project management skills, with the capacity to manage competing tasks

  • Proactive, self-motivated and flexible in responding to changing work priorities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
