Your role


An exciting opportunity exists for a junior legal secretary to join our collaborative Transport Accident Compensation (TAC) team and WorkSafe Recoveries practice on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and excellent organisational skills to work in a busy team environment.


As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:


  • High volume file management including file opening and electronic filing 
  • Database management and coordination
  • Email and phone management
  • Printing and filing of correspondence and emails
  • Billing, reporting and general accounts
  • Diary management including organising meetings
  • Assisting with document production and amendments including use of precedents
  • General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and conducting searches as required
  • Monitoring key dates such as advices, appeal dates


What you need


The successful candidate will also possess the following attributes:


  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own
  • Self-motivated and an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
