Your Role

 

We have an opportunity for a disputes lawyer at Senior Associate level (PQE 5+) to join a busy and dynamic construction disputes practice. The role is based in Melbourne with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution in relation to the construction and infrastructure industry both in Victoria and interstate.

 

What you need

 

We welcome applications from lawyers with a minimum 5 years PQE looking to take the next step in your career in a Tier 1 practice. You will have experience in construction disputes, building compliance and regulatory actions (including disciplinary proceedings), proven advocacy skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines. In addition to your technical and legal knowledge, you will have an ability to manage client relationships and provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to junior lawyers.

 

You will also have: 

 

  • a commercial approach to all matters
  • superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail
  • knowledge of building compliance and regulation in Victoria
  • the ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and
  • resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own.
