Your Role


As a Sous Chef in our team, you will be assisting the Head Chef and Client Services Team Leader in a variety of functional tasks and responsibilities set out below:
 

  • Preparation of food and meals for a wide variety of functions
  • Assist with menu planning, ordering and stock control
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and equipment to comply with health and safety standards
  • Assist in unpacking and shelving deliveries
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss areas of activity, concern and general feedback
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures such as confidentiality, OH&S
  • Ability to supervise and perform role of the Head Chef Team leader in their absence

 

More About You


We welcome applicants who have:
 

  • Up to 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Corporate or professional services experience would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Ability to work professionally at all times in a fast paced environment
  • Creativity, passion and flair for food preparation and presentation
  • Are a proven team player
  • Are looking to work full-time, Monday to Friday and keep weekends and public holidays to yourself
