Your Role

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Business Services Team Leader to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Services Team Leader to join our newly fitted out Perth office. The successful candidate will have preferably 1 to 3 years of team leader experience, in a professional services or corporate environment and strong knowledge in either Premises or Records Management would be a real bonus.

The role has a 'hands on' involvement with all the functional tasks and responsibilities, particularly in operational areas including search and lodgement, printing/photocopying/scanning, mail, couriers, fax, stationery, printer fleet management, disbursements and recoveries, purchasing, space planning, premises and maintenance, moves, archiving, storage, safe custody, security, car parking, environmental/energy initiatives and relevant business continuity plans.

 

Your duties  

 

As a Business Services Team Leader in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of duties such as:

 

  • Lead and manage the Business Services function, including the Business Centre, Document Production, Mail and Courier, Premises and Search and Lodgement with a focus on sustainable service delivery.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations and requirements of the Business Services team, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently, professionally, timely and cost-effectively.
  • Act as the escalation point for any operational issues and their resolution.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to team members, including training, regular one-to-one catch-ups, feedback and performance management.
  • Maintain key supplier and service provider relationships and manage purchasing expenditure.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of budgets, forecasting, and tracking monthly costs and managing invoicing.
  • Participate in the national alignment of policies, procedures, services and products for ongoing improvement.
  • Build a strong positive team culture, including knowledge sharing and continuous improvement with the team.
  • Proactively monitor service quality and delivery standards, actively seek feedback on the client experience, identify trends, and continually drive operational excellence
  • Ensure all relevant WHS guidelines and requirements are met
  • Ensure all relevant Security guidelines and requirements are met
  • Emergency and BCP coordination to meet both the tenancy and office requirements
  • Assist in overflow of work from the Business Services Assistant role(s) across Office Services and Premises and provide hands on assistance to the team in staff absences, capacity peaks, etc.

 

More About You

 

To be successful in this role

 

  • 1 to 3 years of team leader experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge in either Premises/Facilities or Records Management would be a real bonus. Mailroom or document production experience would also be highly valued.
  • Experience leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
