The role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to our Dispute Resolution & Insurance team. This full‑time, permanent role supports a collaborative team and plays an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Proactive diary and inbox management
- Coordinating meetings and organising travel arrangements
- Drafting correspondence, document preparation and amendments
- Matter and file management (opening and closing matters, maintaining electronic and physical filing)
- Client billing and corporate expense reconciliation
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to build strong working relationships
- General administrative and ad hoc duties as required
What you need
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar role and demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- An understanding of billing and financial systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
- The ability to build positive working relationships
- A proactive approach and demonstrated initiative
