Your role

A great opportunity currently exists for a legal practitioner with at least two years post-admission years of experience to join our pre-eminent Health Disputes team in Perth.

You will join a specialist team advising health care providers, medical indemnity insurers and medical practitioners on resolving a wide range of litigated and non-litigated disputes and inquiries, including medical malpractice claims, coronial inquests, regulatory action by the National Boards, and providing risk management advice following incidents

Working in a supportive, flexible and close-knit team, you will be solution-driven, commercial and pragmatic, and focused on understanding our clients' needs. 

 

What you need

We welcome applications from lawyers who:

  • have at least two years technical experience with health-related disputes, preferably in medical malpractice claims;
  • have practised in the District Court, Supreme Court and/or State Administrative Tribunal;
  • can explain complex issues to clients clearly and concisely;
  • have technical excellence;
  • have a strong client focus and a demonstrated focus on forming enduring relationships with clients and industry experts;
  • thrive in a highly collaborative environment;
  • take pride in their work and who they work for.
