The Role
MinterEllison is a market leading class actions practice with deep expertise in the strategic defence of complex, high profile claims across Australia and New Zealand. The team has acted in many of the most significant recent class actions, including matters shaping the development of Australian class actions law, and is trusted by corporates facing heightened litigation, regulatory and reputational risk.
A great opportunity currently exists for a litigation and dispute resolution Associate to join our Sydney team. Working directly with Partners; David Taylor, Beverley Newbold, James Beaton, Caitlin Murray and William Nolan. You will join a specialist practice advising on high profile, complex disputes including class actions, large commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
Our clients span a broad range of sectors, including both Australian and International clients, providing the opportunity to build experience on matters that are both challenging and high impact.
About you
You are a motivated, focused and enthusiastic lawyer seeking a new challenge within a highly collaborative, well-regarded, and personable, national team.
We’re interested in lawyers who bring:
- 3 years' post-admission experience in litigation (class actions experience highly regarded);
- strong technical expertise in commercial dispute resolution matters;
- a high level of technical excellence and attention to detail;
- strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients, counsel and experts;
- the ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team-based, collaborative environment;
- resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own; and
