Expressions of Interest - M&A, Capital Markets & Corporate Advisory Lawyers (permanent role)
Summary
Take your career to the next level and join our internationally collaborative Corporate Transactions team, working on market-leading transactions for a diverse global client base.
Our Team
The Corporate Transactions team sits within our broader Capital Markets & Corporate line of business and is regarded as one of the most successful M&A and ECM practices in Australia, consistently ranking amongst the top Australian M&A and ECM firms in League Tables.
Operating internationally, the team is led by leading M&A and ECM practitioners with extensive experience in M&A (both public and private), Private Equity, Capital Markets and Corporate Advisory. They are the trusted advisors to international and local clients across a range of industry sectors including Financial and Business Services, Agribusiness, Real Estate, Technology, Education, Government, Infrastructure and Energy & Resources.
The team is one of the largest corporate teams in the Australian market with an independent brand which gives our lawyers the opportunity to develop their technical skills, and build their deal sheets, in high profile transactions for large international and local clients.
Your Opportunity
We continue to be very busy, despite the softening economic environment, and we have a number of opportunities for experienced Senior Associates and Associates to join the team. This includes roles across Public and/or Private M&A, Capital Markets, Private Equity and Corporate Advisory for domestic and international clients.
Our integrated model means that you will work collaboratively with a team of experienced and supportive professionals across our network of offices across the country. You will also have an opportunity to work with (and gain exposure to) a number of leading independent global law firms as they refer inbound work to our corporate team. This gives you the opportunity to gain exposure to our diverse client base and play a key role advising on a variety of major domestic and cross-border deals.
You will be empowered to grow and develop at each stage of your career as a corporate lawyer through our tailored learning & development programs. For Senior Associates, you will have the opportunity to build your practice and personal brand through business development and leadership and client skills sessions. The Corporate Transactions team has a long and distinguished track record of guiding a number of lawyers into partnership and also in assisting other lawyers to secure leading international and local engagements both in private practice or in-house roles.
You will also experience world class skills training, guided by a dedicated mentor and supervisor. We have had a number of Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 M&A Award winners and nominees in our team. This demonstrates the investment we make in our junior lawyers and the great experience they receive working on a diverse range of deals for our high profile clients.
