Your role will be varied and challenging.  On both competition and consumer law matters, you will assist clients across a range of industries by assessing and managing risks, providing complex advice, overseeing regulatory investigations, and engaging with the regulator in relation to complex mergers and authorisation applications. This is an ideal opportunity to be involved in a range of interesting and intellectually stimulating matters across sectors including government, energy and resources, health, education and telecommunications (among others).

As a lawyer in this team you will be working with corporate clients, international law firms and government agencies. These clients trust MinterEllison with their biggest and most complex matters. You will be part of a team, collaborating across practice areas and across offices, as well as working with individuals who are recognised as leaders in their fields.

What you need

You will be a motivated, focussed and experienced lawyer who is seeking a new challenge as part of a great team. You will have a strong interest and experience in competition and consumer law, potentially with experience in certain heavily regulated industries such as telecommunications or energy. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines. To be successful in this role you must be a team player and be ready to form an integral part of our national Competition team.

You will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, to help solve our client's most complex problems.
