The Team

As a Firm we recognise that the provision of first class legal services requires a talented and supportive team.

The Client Services team operate an internal cafe which has a full café set up complete with state of the art cafe equipment. The objectives of the Barista is to provide consistently good coffee and the highest level of customer service to our staff who frequent the café.

We are currently looking for an experienced professional with a real passion for coffee, food and customer service to join our team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Head Barista, you will take a 'hands on' involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including:

  • In conjunction with another barista, preparing large volume barista coffee
  • Taking and preparing food orders (including toast)
  • Opening or closing café as required
  • Cashiering
  • Ensure the café area and tables are neat and clean at all times
  • Unpacking deliveries, stock rotation
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, such as confidentiality and WHS
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss areas of activity, concern and general feedback
  • Other duties as directed by Head Barista / Client Floor Team Leader

Reporting to the Head Barista, this Café Assistant will take a 'hands on' involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including:

This role requires availability on Monday and Friday's and preferably Thursday between the hours 7.30 am to 3:30 pm. Additional hours may be required for from time to time.

More About You

You will have at least 1+ years barista experience in a high volume environment. Other café experience such as food handling will be highly regarded. You will also need to have a passion for customer service.

In addition, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Experience as a Barista in a high volume environment
  • Food safety skills
  • An uncompromising commitment to delivering outstanding service in a professional and efficient manner
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to liaise at all levels
  • Food and beverage knowledge
