Your role
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our on‑site corporate kitchen on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
The Sydney Client Floor team is a close‑knit, hardworking group who consistently deliver the high standard of food and service our clients, partners and staff expect.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Daily food preparation across a wide variety of functions and service styles, ensuring consistency and quality for all offerings
- Assist the Head Chef and the broader kitchen team with menu planning and meal design
- Demonstrate creativity and versatility in menu development, working across multiple cuisines to support formal dining, café service, breakfast, morning teas, and corporate events
- Take ownership of your section, including stock ordering, adherence to food safety requirements, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
What you need
We welcome applications from people with:
- Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in fine dining either in a hotel or corporate environment
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Ability to work professionally at all times in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Creativity, passion and flair for food preparation and presentation
- Demonstrate leadership and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Well presented
