The Team

Our Data Analytics and Insights team sits within the Change & Transformation group and plays a critical role in delivering the firm's strategy. We provide reliable, timely insights that support executives and partners to make informed decisions, improve performance, and identify opportunities for growth. Working with Analytics tools including Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Azure ML and Power BI, we maintain a trusted, analytics-ready foundation that supports Business Intelligence, AI agents, Machine Learning, and Data Science across the firm.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to join our Sydney-based Data Analytics and Insights team. This is a senior individual contributor role with an approximate split of 60% hands-on technical delivery and 40% stakeholder engagement.

You will design and deliver high-quality analytical outputs — Power BI semantic models, Fabric data items, and data-driven insights — that enable firm leadership and practice groups to make confident, informed decisions.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Designing and implementing a medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold) within Microsoft Fabric to support reporting and BI delivery
  • Building and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines, including incremental load strategies
  • Developing complex Power BI dashboards and semantic models
  • Leveraging AI tooling and agents to automate and enhance data pipelines
  • Translating business questions into well-scoped analytical solutions and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Supporting self-service BI adoption and data literacy across the firm
  • Partnering with the data community to drive and deliver data and analytics initiatives

For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to shape the firm's analytics capability and make a genuine impact on how the business uses data.

More About You

We welcome applications from experienced data analytics professionals with a strong track record in business intelligence and cloud-based analytics environments. Ideally, you will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and the Azure analytics ecosystem (2+ years)
  • Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic modelling
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation and pipeline development (ideal)
  • Strong SQL skills for complex query writing and performance tuning
  • Experience using AI tooling to automate and enhance analytical delivery
  • A client-focused approach and the ability to communicate complex data concepts in plain English
  • Energy and enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a high-performing team
  • A genuine interest in growing your career within a leading professional services firm
