Your role

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Executive Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution practice, providing dedicated support to our Competition team on a 17 month Fixed Term Contract.  In this role, you will provide high-level assistance to a team of senior legal professionals known for their expertise, dedication and collaborative approach. You will be part of a supportive environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the team’s overall success.

 

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised. 

 

As a valued member of the team, your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • File management, including opening and closing files, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  • Email and inbox management
  • Proactive diary management, including organising meetings and sending calendar appointments
  • Drafting correspondence and preparing documents
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Processing invoices for third party payors
  • Coordinating monthly billing
  • Reconciling monthly corporate expenses using Concur
  • Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements
  • General administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required

 

What you need

 

The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years legal secretarial experience and a strong willingness to learn. An interest or experience in AI would be highly regarded. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role as an Executive or Legal Assistant within a litigation or personal injury environment and demonstrate the following:

  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • A team orientated mindset with a focus on building strong working relationships
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Initiative and a genuine desire to contribute to team success
